Sept. 4th: Meyer The Hatter did not sustain any damage from Hurricane Gustav. We were very fortunate. We will reopen for business on Friday, Sept. 5th.

Local residents are returning to New Orleans and the surrounding parishes. Electricity is on in Downtown New Orleans but still off in much of the metropolitan area.

Store hours: 10:00 am to 5:45 pm, Monday thru Saturday. Closed Sundays and holidays.

During Carnival season, you can even catch some beads and doubloons while watching a Mardi Gras parade right in front of the store, as we are located on the traditional St. Charles Avenue parade route.
